History
Exploration One is a multi-genre instrumental metal project by Georgy Kirilchenko (LAZARUTH, CrimSun, Sinsensor, Samupunk).
Debut self-titled EP, released in 2021 in collaboration with Alexey Razorenov (Hyperomm, LAZARUTH, Stilverlight, ex-Sunwalter, ex-Digimortal) was heavily inspired by such artists as Andy James, Jeff Loomis, Iron Maiden, Trivium, combining modern technical solos and classic "old-school" metal motives.
2025 release "A New Way" sets a new milestone in the history of the project, incorporating all the best from such genres as post-industrial, djent, argent and progressive metal, paying tribute to the adrenaline-pumping soundtracks from Doom and Atomic Heart by Mick Gordon and Geoffplaysguitar, and artists like Meshuggah, Memorycorp and many others.
In 2026 track "Chrome Division" was released as a part of musical collaboration between CHROMACHASM, PIGEON SLAYERS, CANAVAR CONTACT, Борец в пижаме and ØтдуIIIина. One sample, six different musicians and one task for all - make a track, based on one initial sample. "Chrome Division" - result of combining argent-metal, industrial and djent with pop-based motives.
Later in April 2026 Exploration One recorded a killer guest solo for track "МЕСТЬ ГОЛУБЯ ГАРРИ" by PIGEON SLAYERS. That insane solo section was inspired by deathcore bands such as Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent.
